Mikinari Higano Ph.D. was an economist who studied at University of Tokyo and taught at Tokyo Metropolitan University until he moved to Rikkyo University in 2005 to start the whole new Business Leadership Program as Professor and Program Director in College of Business the next year. The Program is a big success now and the president of the Rikkyo University appointed him as Director of the new, campus-wide leadership education program (Rikkyo GLP) in 2013. He is also a certified action learning coach (CALC) and introduced action learning to the BLP and GLP at Rikkyo University and Asia Pacific Leadership Program (APLP) at the East-West Center as well.
