Profile

Fumiyo Seimiya is the President of the Learning Design Center and Founder and Director of the Japan Institute for Action Learning. She holds a degree in psychology from Tokyo Woman’s Christian University, and an M.A. in Human Resources Development from The George Washington University in the United States. Fumiyo has trained and certified over 400 Action Learning coaches and overseen the implementation of Action Learning programs in over 50 companies. In 2010 Fumiyo became one of only 9 people in the world to be certified as a Master Action Learning Coach by the World Institute for Action Learning (WIAL). She is the author of several books in Japanese and has also translated WIAL President Dr Michael Marquardt’s book on “Optimizing the Power of Action Learning”.
