Born in Kyoto in 1976, Mr. Komatsu graduated from University of Tokyo and entered the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in 2001. After temporary transfers to the Oita prefectural government and Fukuoka City hall, he retired from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and transferred to Takeo city, starting as an apprentice. He worked on finance, planning, and administration publicity. He also worked on disaster relief in Fukushima for a year. Currently, in addition to supervision of the administrative tasks, he also works on development of new policies. He is currently distressed about weeds growing rapidly in his 50-year-old rented house. He has been irregularly updating “Head of Administration Division’s Hisho Hisho Banashi (Secret Stories)” on his Facebook.
